Where did all the Robin Hoods go? The heroes of the world seem few if any All the would-be heroes have become entrepreneurs How could heroism become so tainted?
No one is left to steal from the rich Who has the time anyways? It's far easier to steal from the poor Easier to join the oppressor than fight them
Now everything is a Cinderella story Rags to riches is a much more profitable story Lucky chances and hard work That's all we have left for hope
The virtue of capitalism is a fairy tale There is nothing honourable about becoming a lord over the masses Nor is there anything righteous in fighting for profits Most end up disillusioned like Don Quixote anyways
We ride around in white steeds Chasing adventures we create But we never actually do anything It is simply a trick of the mind
I'd rather Robin Hood than a venture capitalist Today Robin Hood would be called a terrorist One day he'll be a martyr There is no theft for what has already been stolen
